The Tap Store is a unique way to reward positive student performance, and it's built to support and integrate with any existing school store or incentive programs you already run. Students earn MOOV Coins for things like arriving at school and class on time (or early), then spend them on the rewards you stock.
To get there, navigate to the Dashboard in the upper right, scroll down until you see the Tap Store tile, and click it.
Once you're in the Tap Store, you have a bunch of options!
Set Coin Values
This determines how students are awarded coins or have coins deducted based on how early or late they are. You'll configure it in two places: by Class and by Entry.
Coins by Lateness (Class)
Here's how to read the two columns:
Left column = minutes early or late. Any negative number is early to class (−2 = 2 minutes early). Any positive number is late (2 = 2 minutes late). 0 means the student arrived exactly on time, neither early nor late.
Right column = coins gained or lost. Any negative number is a coin loss (−2 = lose 2 coins). Any positive number awards coins (+2 = gain 2 coins). 0 means the student neither earns nor loses coins.
Coin gains and losses are not thresholds; instead, our system does its best to choose the closest time you've configured. So with the setup below, a student who's 4 minutes early earns 10 coins (4 is closest to 5), and a student who's 6 minutes late loses 5 coins (6 is closest to 5):

Use + Add Another to create as many tiers as you like, and the minus button to remove one.
Coins by Lateness (Entry)
Entry follows the exact same rules as above. The one difference: we recommend rewarding students at least 1 coin for arriving at school, regardless of lateness - just getting to the building should feel worth it.

Add Item
This is where you stock the store. Click Add item and fill out the quick form:
Add image - upload a photo so students know exactly what they're earning.
Name - what the reward is called.
Cost - how many MOOV Coins it takes to redeem.
Quantity - how many you have in stock.
Set unlock time (optional) - schedule when the item goes live (see below).
Hit Save, and the reward appears in the store right away.
MOOV Hack: Mix a few cheap, high-stock items (pencils, erasers) with one or two big "dream" rewards (a gift card, headphones, a mystery box). The cheap items give everyone a quick win, while the splurge items give students a reason to keep banking coins.
View Buyers
View buyers gives you a record of who's redeemed what, so you can fulfill orders and track redemptions over time. This is only possible if kids are purchasing Tap Store items from their student view. Otherwise, you can click on an item, click "Sell item to student", and begin typing in their name.
Stocking, Costs, and Sold-Out Items
Every reward shows up as a card with its photo, name (and any limit), the number in stock, and its coin cost (the orange M coin). When an item reaches 0 in stock, MOOV automatically drops a Sold out banner over it, so students can't redeem something you can't hand them. To restock or change a price, just open the item, update the quantity or cost, and save.
Scheduling a Drop with Unlock Time
When you set an unlock time on an item, it stays locked until that moment - showing a countdown timer (with mystery question marks) instead of the photo. It's a great way to build hype around a special "drop."
MOOV Hack: Tease a high-value mystery box with an unlock timer set for Friday afternoon after school. The visible countdown all week gives students a reason to keep tapping in early and on time so their coins are ready when it drops.
