Before You Begin…

  • Ensure ID-ALL is up to date. You can verify you are using the latest version using this link.

  • Do not edit your badge template. If you need to make changes or are considering changes, please contact us before making any edits.

  • For printer installation or troubleshooting, refer to this article if you have a Primacy 1, and this article if you have a Primacy 2.

Printing Student IDs

When ID-ALL is connected, you will see a database containing all students at your school. You can print an ID for any student in this list.

  • Click column headers to sort records in ascending or descending order.

  • The number at the bottom of the screen indicates the total number of student records.

  • Next to it is the search bar, which can be used to locate a student by name or ID number.

We recommend searching by student ID number to avoid accidentally printing the wrong card.

  • After searching, click Apply or press Enter to proceed.

CardUid Field Explanation

  • If the CardUid field is blank, it indicates that the card data was successfully uploaded to MOOV.

  • After printing an ID, allow up to 60 seconds for the card to activate and become usable on MOOV devices.

Important: Never click Disconnect. This will disconnect the database from the template.

How to Take Student Photos in ID-ALL

  • ID-ALL allows you to take student photos that upload to MOOV and, in some cases, your SIS.

  • If your SIS does not support photo uploads, we will provide a photo dump download so you can review which students were photographed.

Taking a Photo

  • Double-click the empty cell in the photo column for the student where their picture would be.

  • The camera will open, allowing you to take a photo.

  • Click Save.

Troubleshooting

Camera Does Not Open

  • Right-click the Photo column header (the text that says "photo").

  • Select Advanced Options.

  • Click Get from Camera.

If you already have a photo saved on your computer, select Browse Image to upload it instead.

Important: Make sure the image is set to “Crop to fit” rather than “Shrink to fit” to avoid a formatting error.

Photo on Printed Card Is Incorrect

  • If the photo on the printed card does not match what you see in the database:

    • Click the photo on the card template editing area.

  • Select Parameters.

  • Confirm that Database is selected and that Photo is chosen from the column list.

Blank Cards Printing

  • If the printer is ejecting blank cards, please refer to this article for Primacy 1 and this article for Primacy 2.

Student Not Found in Database

  • New student records are imported once every morning.

  • If you cannot find a student, please wait up to 24 hours and try again.

Missing Students or Incomplete Results

If students appear to be missing:

  • Ensure the search bar is empty.

  • Click the magnifying glass in the bottom-right corner.

  • Select Clear Filter, if available.
